Dimensional colour is a great option for guests that want low maintenance- think multi tonal "lived in hair". Dimensional colour can still have high impact but special techniques are used for a seamless grow out that always looks natural. (No harsh lines here!) These colours can be achieved in several ways, the most popular methods you will find me doing are the following,
Balayage,
Balayage is a free hand painting method for creating natural looking sun kissed lightness that is placed strategically to enhance your best features. Balayage is best for guests that want warmer & more subtle results, especially guests with virgin hair looking to try colour for the first time!
Foilayage,
Foilayage is a hybrid of traditional foilwork and balayage.
This technique is best for guests that want maximum brightness, and/or cool tones paired with dimension. It creates a beautiful "lived in look" & a seamless gradient of colours.
